Author Guidelines

Komunika JournalCommunication Studies accepts original manuscripts including research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and conceptual papers related to business, economics, management, finance, taxation, and entrepreneurship.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Articles may be written in either Bahasa Indonesia or English.

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.

  • Article length: 4,000–7,000 words, including abstract, tables, figures, and references.

  • Authors are required to use the official journal template (available on the Template page).

2. Manuscript Structure

  • Title (maximum 15 words, clear and concise)

  • Author(s) and Affiliation(s) (include corresponding author's email)

  • Abstract (maximum 200 words) in both English and Bahasa Indonesia

  • Keywords (3–5 keywords)

  • Introduction

  • Research Methods

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion and Suggestions

  • References (using latest APA Style)

3. Citation Style

  • Minimum of 15 scholarly references (80% from journals published within the last 5 years).

  • Authors are encouraged to use reference managers such as Mendeley or Zotero.

4. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts are reviewed through a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers.

  • Revisions must be completed within the specified deadline.

5. Publication Ethics

  • Authors must adhere to scientific publication ethics and avoid plagiarism.

  • Maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%.

6. Copyright and Licensing

  • Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (CC BY 4.0).

  • Authors retain the copyright of their work.

  • This journal charges no fees for article submission or publication (Free APC).
