This study explores the dynamics of crisis communication employed by companies in managing crises through the mass media. By utilizing case studies of companies facing reputation and communication crises, this research shows how mass media is used to manage crisis messages and mitigate negative impacts on the company's brand and reputation. The findings reveal that transparent, responsive, and coordinated communication through mass media is crucial in maintaining public trust and addressing potential long-term damage to the company. This study recommends that companies prepare a solid crisis communication strategy and involve mass media at every stage of crisis management.
